We will start with one of the more well-known social media management tools, Hootsuite. Hootsuite is used by millions around the world to market their business in an efficient and simple way. Once you sign up to Hootsuite and choose your plan, you can utilise a variety of features. The first thing you need to do is also the easiest part, add your social media channels, Hootsuite enables you to add Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, as well as allowing you to post on your WordPress website. From there on you can easily choose which channel you want to post to, or you can choose to send the same content to every single social account you have, the choice is yours!
Once you decide to create a post and select your channels, you can get details about character limits for each of the platforms, which comes in handy. You can then shorten links, attach photos and schedule posts. You can also easily access to features such as analytics and insights into your progress and growth, assignment management for your team, campaign management for all of your social networks, and so on. The main dashboard is where everything happens on Hootsuite. There’s no need to log in and out of accounts. Hootsuite is fast, simple, and it gives results. To gain access to the full features of Hootsuite, you need to invest in a paid plan. Most social media marketers, however, agree that it’s worth it.
I will now move on to the next social media management tool which can improve your efficiency, the social media management tool in question is Buffer. If you are looking for software that is easy to navigate, looks simple and can make your team more efficient, then Buffer is your key to managing social media. Once you create your account, you can choose the social networks you want to add to it. You can easily add and remove any network to your dashboard and connect your pages and profiles. You can then use the content tab to you guessed it, add content!
Moving forward, use the scheduling tab to create a custom posting schedule. If you tell Buffer to automatically post for you, you can also choose the frequency of daily posting as well. Buffer offers the option of automatic posting and determines the right posting times for your brand, based on the engagement of your audience. You can also use the settings tab to adjust your accounts, team members, and link shortening. The main thing that most people love about Buffer is that you can add the browser extension or download the mobile app, so you can share the content you discover online, on the go!
You can use Buffer for free with limited features. But if you use the free trial and love it there is no reason to pass on the great offer.
Now we will move on to a relatively unknown social media management tool, MeetEdgar, whilst it is unknown in comparison to Buffer or Hootsuite, I see MeetEdgar as the best out of all three, with a simple yet effective layout, MeetEdgar allows you to attach both Facebook and Twitter accounts, doesn’t sound that impressive, right? Here is what sets MeetEdgar apart, you are able to bulk upload content, yet again your probably thinking so what you can do it on Hootsuite, but you can then continuously use the content, the best time to use this social media management tool is when you are putting out a lot of content all you have to do is put the content into a schedule timeline that has a full week Sunday to Monday, you then select the times to post the content out and it then randomly selects content based on the category. This means you don’t have to continuously go on and schedule it for each individual day of the week.
So, which one sound the best to you? Is there a social media management tool out there that you believe is better than all of these? Do you have any other questions let us know!
